PFC Jeremy Drexler

PFC Jeremy Drexler

Jeremy’s hometown is Topeka, Kansas where he lived with his parents and two brothers. He was known for helping the underdog or anyone who needed a friend. He frequently leaves dimes laying around to show his mother he is still there and that everything will be alright. The video below are pictures his mother shared with us. Look for the angel! It came to him the morning before he became one!

PFC Jeremy Drexler was killed in action from an IED.

Jeremy’s Pay a Good Deed Forward Scholarship now includes his brother Kenny. CWO Kenny Drexler Sept 1, 2018, from PTSD self-inflicted wounds. We are in the process of developing this joint scholarship. Previously we awarded it each year to a veteran attending Washburn Technical Institute in Topeka, KS. Sadly, WTI no longer supported our program and we had to move on.

We are looking into creating a formal scholarship at Washburn High School. The award will go to a family member of a veteran. If none apply for this scholarship, then the other considerations will be for a student who will enter a branch of military service or go into training to become a first responder. This could be a fire fighter, police officer, nurse, Emergency Medical Technician, or other career designed to help others.

We are also accepting donations that will be used to purchase a Memorial Bench for each.

Please consider donating as a way to show their mother and brother they are not forgotten.
