How do Pay A Good Deed Forward (PAGDF) Scholarships work?
We establish a PAGDF Scholarship in the name of a fallen service member at a college or university near their hometown. Through donations we receive, we endow the scholarship, which means the principle amount of the scholarship will be around forever. Each year the principle amount earns income and is used for the scholarship award. The award goes to a combat veteran attending the school designated in the scholarship. We encourage the veteran to use the funds for any purpose that will help them attend school, such as, gas money, babysitting, food, etc. Family’s of the fallen are given the opportunity to participate in the scholarship selection process and meet the veteran receiving the award. It truly is an awesome opportunity for everyone involved!
