SPC Ross A McGinnis Pay A Good Deed Forward Scholarship

Ross from Knox, PA. was 19 years old when he was killed in Adhamiyah, Iraq on December 4, 2006.  He was assigned to 1st Platoon, C Company 1st Battalion, 26th Infantry Regiment Schweinfurt, Germany.  He was killed when a grenade was lobbed into his Humvee and he threw himself on the grenade and saved the lives of his 4 comrades.  He received the Medal of Honor in June 2008.

Ross' scholarship is offered to veterans attending Butler Community College in Butler, PA.

PFC Jeremy Drexler Pay A Good Deed Forward Scholarship

Jeremy was from Topeka, KS was 23 years old when he was killed in Baghdad, Iraq on May 2, 2004.  He was assigned to the 91st Engineer Battalion, 1st Cavalry Division from Fort Hood, TX.  He was killed whn his convoy vehicle hit an improvised explosive device (IED).

Jeremy's scholarship is offered at Washburn Institution of Technology in Topeka, KS.
